Just a slightly catch up ...

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since the last time I came up here to write a few words. I have to admit that this year I didn't find neither the time nor enthusiasm to jot down a word in here. So I thought I should give an explanation for my sudden resurgence and so that you can catch up on a few things about my life.

As you might know, I am a highschool student in France and this year was quite harsh in all meanings.

Firstly, back to school I was of the view writing a couple posts from time to time but I was stunned by the amount of work we had. Also, this year (for the first time ever) we had face masks and all the sanitarian conditions. I have to say that the way we did our classes was more tiring than what I was used to and taken by the "storm of school" I wasn't thoroughly galvanized by the idea of putting down a handful of articles. Moreover, this year's grades were counting for my college applications and I had to be fully dedicated to my work. At last, I had a french writing exam yesterday and I still have to go over my notes for my oral assessment, though I wanted to take a little break today.

Nevertheless, I want to come back on this blog and write again (I missed writing...). Even if we are not that numerous, thanks to all the readers who are taking time in reading my articles. Anew, this summer I am planning on posting as much as I can (perhaps one post per week). I will as well write down about policy, global issues, cooking, books, travel (of course I am not traveling anywhere this year, thanks to covid. But if I am visiting some pleasant french cities, I'll write about them) and obviously try to improve my english.

I hope you will understand why I was not up and running at all this year and wish you are all doing well.
