Four tips to extend your life expectancy



A few days ago, I saw a TV show about how to live longer so I came up with the idea to write a blog article on this topic. How to live longer this is a question that everyone is asking themselves especially at this time of the year after long days of lockdown. In this blog article I will give you four tips to extend your life expectancy and I can assure you that some of the instructions that I am giving, will suprise you.


Medidate for less stress

Medidation is on the rise and it exists plenty applications such as Calm or Petit Bambou that can help you to relax yourself. Stress is something very present in our society, you can stress at work or simply imagining things that could eventually happen. This is called unecessary stress. But the fact is that stress has been linked to diseases such as cancer. So if you want to stress less do some meditation and sleep well. lf you sleep well you can increase your life expectancy but you have to keep some regulars hours to go to bed.


Daily workout preferably outside

It is well known that doing some sport can extend you life expectancy. The ideal daily duration of your sport sessions have to last at least 30 min/day. A study showed that people who do this, have in average their cells which are 9 years younger than nonexercisers. Also daily exercise can improve your sleep and your energy level. But you still have to find the good sport for you ! Something that you like and which isn't tedious to realize because you will have to do it everydays. So for people who really need to let off steam, sports such as tennis or running are great. But if you are like me and you don't feel very athletic you can still do half an hour of yoga per day and trust me it is as healthier than tennis or basketball. But I would recommend you to take some fresh air every days, because it makes you increase your vitamin D (given by the sun's rays) which makes your bones strongers.


Having a great diet

If you want to live longer you have to eat some healthy things without preservatives or pesticides. So you ought to buy some biological food in a short circuit from the farmer to the consumer. Also you have to eat two times per week meat and at least three times a week some fish. Also you have to eat at least five vegetables or fruits per days. These foods will give you some vitamins, essantial for our body's proper functioning. Also if you want, I could give you some healthy and easy recipe to make to stay fit !


Don't take uneccesary risks

As most of the people know, don't take uneccesary risks, for instance don't smoke or make sure not to drive after drinking some alcohol to avoid an accident. Also maintain a healthy weight. These are the kind of things that we all know but that we should do to extend our life expectancy.
