Le Petit Déjeuner estival by The French Art De Vivre

France is facing a devastating heatwave for now a few days. The average temperatures of the country are around 32 °C. So how can we have an efficient breakfast full of vitamins to start the day without having this uncomfortable feeling that your breakfast was way too heavy for your stomach ?

In this article, I will give you a breakfast recipe full of vitamins and low in fat that I really enjoy eating in the morning especially in summer.



First of all, I would recommend you to start by doing the little fruit salad, you can make it either the night before your breakfast (if you’re not a morning person like me) or you can make your salad on your breakfast morning. For this salad you will need :

  • half an orange

  • one peach

  • one pear

  • one apple

Rinse the fruits and cut them into squares. To give a bit of crisp to your recipe you can also add some hazelnut. Then put your brew in a bowl and in the fridge.

Your salad is ready !


After making your salad, you can take the other half of your orange and make some orange juice or you have the easier possibility which is taking an industrial orange juice that you put in a glass. Furthermore, you can take some butter and spread it on a slice of bread or rusks. This will, give consistency to your recipe.


In addition, I would recommend you to do some boiled eggs which are full of proteins, very important for your health. For this you need to : take one or two eggs and put them in boiled water. Then you have to wait three minutes and put them on an egg cup.


Your little breakfast is now waiting for you !
