Study tips to improve your marks !


Hello everyone,

This week I would like to share with you my study tips and it can fit with every kind of student that really wants to improve its marks.


1) Don’t just do your homework


Always think that your homeworks are just something that your teachers are giving to help you to improve yourself in subjects but it won’t help you for your assessments. There is at least a bit of personal work that you must do to improve your marks. I would advise you to learn or at least reread your courses every day after doing them.


2) Don’t think you are working for your teachers or your parents


You have to think that you work for you and what you want to do in your future, not for what your parents or your teachers are thinking about you or want you to become. If you keep this in mind I can assure you that it will motivate you to work harder.


3) Use a good working technique

From the start of the year think about a good working technique like what is the most efficient for me : working on my computer and then printing my pages or using one notebook per subject. In advice, I will give my working method which I think could be useful. So when I am working at school I bring with me only a file box where I put my notes from the last courses I had in subjects, a pencil case with a few pens in it, my books for each subjects and a notepad where I am writing my courses. Also with this method you will have a lighter bagpack so you will preserve your health.


4) Having a healthy lifestyle


If you want to improve your marks you must have a healthy lifestyle. But you are going to tell me “Yes we know that but what does this mean ?”. Actually this mean that you have to apply these tips :

  • going to bed no later than 11:30 pm (even if it is the weekend)

  • waking up no later than 9:30 pm whether you are on weekdays or on weekend

You must keep a rhythm, it will make your sleep repairman and healthier.

  • doing a bit of sport or extracurricular activities to think about something else than working

  • meditate a bit every day it will help you to face the stress, you can do it the morning or the evening as you like but it is important to do it and don’t give up because the first session are always hard for beginners !
